Dr. Julia Roque

Dr. Julia, “Dr. Jewels”, grew up outside of Kansas City.  She has a dual citizenship to France and the United States.  She graduated from Kansas State University College of Veterinary Medicine in 2012 and completed a large animal internship at the University of Tennessee in 2013.

She has a special interest in feline and canine oral health.  She also enjoys ophthalmology, oral surgery, equine medicine, and advocating preventative health for all species.

She also is a frequent volunteer with the World Vets organization, whose mission is to improve the health and wellbeing of animals by providing veterinary aid, training and disaster relief to underserved countries throughout the world.

She has an Irish Setter, Reenie and a cat Tigerlily.

What she enjoys (outside of veterinary medicine)

  • Wallyball (volleyball on a racquetball court)
  • International travel
  • Cheering on the Kansas State Wildcats
  • Volleyball
